About
Ashville Park is the proud home of the Pirates! Any child or teen between 5-18 years old who live in Ashville Park or the surrounding area (Ocean Lakes, Red Mill, Sandbridge, Pungo, etc.) and can swim one lap of the pool unassisted is eligible to join our summer swim team! The swim team provides a great opportunity for children of all swimming abilities to enjoy the summer, stay fit, learn the principles of good sportsmanship, and meet new friends in the community.
Our team is a member of the Virginia Beach Swim League (VBSL) and we are currently in the Porpoise Division. The categories of swimmers are 6 & under (6U), 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and 18U. A swimmer’s age group is determined by his or her age on June 15 of the current year. The season runs from early-June through early August. We compete against:
- Chesapeake Golf Club
- Great Bridge Swim & Racquet Club
- Larkspur Swim & Racquet Club
- Mallory Country Club
Registration
- Ashville Park residents and returning swimmers registration will open on March 1.
- New swimmers who are Non-Ashville Park residents registration will open on April 1.
Swim Team Rates
- Ashville Park Residents*:
- $150 - First Swimmer
- $125 - Per Additional Swimmers
- Non-Ashville Park Residents*:
- $200 - First Swimmer
- $175 - Per Additional Swimmer
*15-18 Age Group Fee - $25 per Swimmer
**Registration does not include pool membership. Ashville Park HOA does not offer pool memberships to non-Ashville Park residents.
