I’m Courtney Morrill, a proud mama of 3, Navy Spouse, who attended Radford for undergrad and UVA for grad school (Master of Ed). I am a Special Educator by trade and have worked with children for years. Currently, I am a Realtor and a Master Sports Taxi Driver. I swam competitively my entire life, have coached Summer League, Great Falls HS and USA Swimming teams, taught lessons and served on several boards. I am a devoted swim mom and continue to swim myself. I hope my experience and true love for swimming and children can contribute to helping the team be a positive, happy and successful experience!
Hello, Katie Warnock here, mother to two awesome daughters, wife, teacher, and coach. I grew up in Buffalo, NY, and attended Canisius College and SUNY Brockport to receive a Bachelor’s degree in Health/Physical Education with minors in Criminal Justice and Coaching. For graduate school, I attended Buffalo State College and earned a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies.
Roughly 20 years ago my husband and I relocated to Virginia Beach and I began my teaching career with VBCPS working as a Physical Educator and coach (Track, Volleyball, Basketball, and Soccer). Currently, I am the HPE Chair at Princess Anne Middle School coaching Girls Soccer, and sponsoring the Fuel Up to Play 60 and Operation Smile Clubs.
Growing up, swimming was one of my favorite activities, and in New York, it was even part of our PE curriculum. After high school, I became Lifeguard Certified as part of our teaching requirements.
I love (almost) everything outdoors - water, beach, land, and mountain activities!! I also love to learn to master new things! Swimming is one of the healthiest activities for the human body and I am looking forward to sharing this love with our AP Pirates. Let’s go!

I'm Ashley Bartholf, a fun-loving military spouse who loves swimming, biking on the Peloton, spoiling our "Pup Pup" and spending time with my family. I graduated from Radford University and majored in Criminal Justice. I spent a lot of time working with students for Fairfax County Publics Schools and truly enjoyed the experience. I furthered my love for helping children grow and excel in the school system as I did throughout the years coaching swim team. My greatest accomplishment is being a mother and raising five beautiful kiddos that I so adore. I am very excited for this amazing opportunity to be an Assistant Coach. Go Pirates!
Hi! My name is Sarah Orebaugh, and I love being part of the Ashville Park Pirates and the Little Pirates Program. I’ve been around the pool my entire life—I started swim team at age 5 and continued swimming through high school. Growing up, I served in several roles at my neighborhood pool, including lifeguard, swim coach, and pool manager. I also ran swim lessons and taught private lessons for several summers.
I still love swimming for exercise and feel most at home in the water. These days, my favorite part of being at the pool is watching my two daughters swim and race—being a swim team mom is the best!
I’m originally from Ohio and attended Xavier University for my undergraduate degree, and I earned my Master’s from ODU. I’ve been teaching for 23 years and am currently the librarian at Virginia Beach Middle School. If you need a book recommendation let me know!
When I’m not at school or at the pool, you can find me at the beach with my family—it’s my happy place. I can’t wait to get started on another great swim season!
