Practice Policies
The pool deck will be closed during practice to parents and non-swimmers. This rule is to minimize the number of people on the deck to ensure that both swimmers and coaches are focused on practice. If you have questions or concerns, please hold them until after practice or contact the Head Coach via email at [email protected].
- All swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted.
- All swimmers should wait outside the gate until you are called onto the pool deck by one of the coaches to begin your age group practice.
- All swimmers must have a swim suit in line with our new team swimsuit policy and guidelines.
- Be ready to get in the water when your practice time starts – cap on and goggles adjusted.
- Remember to bring your goggles to every practice! If you have long hair, pull it back and secure it tightly.
- Show respect to your coaches, teammates, and yourself through your words and actions.
- When coaches are speaking, be quiet, and please pay attention to their instructions.
- Come with a smile and be ready to swim your best every practice.
- Cheer for your teammates at swim meets. Encourage other swimmers and have a positive attitude. We are a team!
